SMC’s instruction for contributions to development cooperation

Criteria that govern the channeling of funds

Rules concerning the contribution are described and are part of the agreement between member and partner organizations.

SMC’s program goal and result model

The channeling of funds is furthermore guided by the SMC’s own aims and objectives. They can be found in our Sida application 2013-15, which is unfortunately only available in Swedish.


The SMC has developed policies around key issues such as environment, gender, Hiv and Aids, evaluation and anti-corruption.

There is a new version in Swedish of the gender policy adopted by the SMC board on March 10, 2016. It has not yet been translated into English.
